The Rainbow View is our way of supporting local mothers in Westmeath who have previously experienced a stillbirth or a late miscarriage after 20 weeks. The Rainbow View is available to mothers in Westmeath who experienced a stillbirth or late miscarriage in their most recent pregnancy. The scan can be booked from 24 weeks onwards in the current pregnancy. During your appointment, we perform a gentle reassurance scan to check your baby’s heartbeat, movement, and amniotic fluid levels. While this is not an anatomy scan or a detailed diagnostic assessment, it is a moment designed to offer calm, connection, and reassurance in a supportive environment.

Availability is limited each month, so we encourage early booking. Your baby’s or babies’ name or names are important to us, and if you feel comfortable, you are welcome to share them on your form so we can acknowledge them with you.
