The Early Gender and Wellbeing Scan at HerView offers an exciting and reassuring way to learn your baby’s gender while also gaining insight into their development. From 16 weeks onwards, our clinical specialist sonographers can determine whether you’re expecting a little boy or girl, while also carrying out a full wellbeing assessment to check on your baby’s growth and health. Many parents choose to enjoy our complimentary in-room LED lights gender reveal, adding an extra moment of joy to the experience. If you plan to have a gender reveal party, we recommend booking your appointment at least one week beforehand so that there is time for a rescan if your baby happens to be in a position that makes gender confirmation difficult. The scan is priced at €140, and if your baby’s position prevents us from confirming the gender at your appointment, a complimentary rescan will be offered.
During your session, we provide a full growth and wellbeing report, confirm gender in 2D, and, when possible, include a complimentary 3D or 4D HD image if your baby is in a favourable position. The assessment also includes estimating your baby’s weight, tracking fetal growth, and measuring amniotic fluid levels. These elements come together to give you a clear picture of how your baby is progressing while creating a memorable and meaningful bonding moment for you and your family. Loved ones are always welcome to join you for the gender reveal, making it a special experience to share.
Most families can expect gender to be determined with high accuracy from 16 weeks onwards. If your baby is lying in a way that makes confirmation difficult, we simply invite you back for another scan at no cost. This ensures you have the best chance of receiving clear, accurate information before your celebration.
